A quitting app that fights back.
ReNewMe is for people quitting porn. It learns the hours you are most at risk, warns you before they arrive, and gives you something to do in the minute that decides it.
Free. No account. Nothing leaves your phone.
- 60 seconds The short way through an urge. It only runs while your thumb is on the screen.
- 10 minutes The long way. Put the phone down and the clock stops.
- 0 accounts Nothing to sign up for, nothing uploaded, no ads.
Counting days is not a plan.
A streak counter tells you how long it has been. It does nothing at eleven at night when the urge arrives. ReNewMe is built for that moment.
-
It learns when you struggle.
During setup you say when it usually happens and what sets it off. After that, every urge and slip you log sharpens the picture.
-
It warns you first.
About twenty minutes before your usual hard time, you get a quiet heads-up and the plan you made for it.
-
It gives you something to do.
One button opens a sixty-second or a ten-minute flow. Both need your hands and your attention, so you cannot wait them out.
Sixty seconds, thumb down.
For an urge that has just started. The flow only moves while your thumb is on the screen, so your hand and your eyes are busy for the whole minute.
- Stop, and one slow breath out.
- Shrink the picture in your head until it is a grey dot.
- What this costs you, in the words you wrote.
- What you are actually after, in the words you wrote.
Ten minutes you cannot wait out.
For a strong one. Slow breathing, a fast tile game that takes your whole attention, the facts about your own pattern, then the letter you wrote to yourself.
- The clock only counts time you spend engaged.
- Stop tapping and it pauses.
- Leaving the app does not count as time served.
It learns your danger hours.
The risk map starts from your answers and is reshaped by everything you log. It can tell you which night of the week is hardest and which trigger keeps showing up.
- It never watches your screen.
- It never reads your browsing.
- It only knows what you tell it.
A slip ends in a plan, not a punishment.
A guilt trip does not stop the next one. A plan might. Three short questions find what led to it, and you leave with one decision already made for next time.
- Your best run and your clean days are kept.
- The plan comes back the next time an urge hits.
Private by construction.
This is not a setting you have to find. The app has nowhere to send what you write in it.
- No account
- There is nothing to sign up for and no profile of you on a server.

Questions.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no subscription, there are no ads, and there is nothing to buy inside it.
Does it block websites or watch what I do?
No. It does not block anything, monitor your screen or read your browsing. It works by warning you ahead of time and by giving you something active to do when an urge arrives.
Where is my data kept?
On your device and nowhere else. There is no account and no server holding your history. If you delete the app, or clear your browser data when you use the browser version, it is gone. You can export a copy from the app first.
What happens if I slip?
You log it, answer three short questions about what led to it, and make one plan for next time. Your best run and your record of clean days stay.
Is it religious?
Not unless you want it to be. You can switch on a daily Christian or Islamic verse in settings. It is off by default.
Why is there no App Store version?
Publishing there takes an Apple developer account and a review, and that has not happened yet. Until it does, iPhone users can add the browser version to their home screen.
Is this therapy?
No. ReNewMe is a self-help tool, not medical or psychological treatment. If this is seriously affecting your life, a therapist who works with compulsive sexual behaviour can help in ways an app cannot. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now.
